An active philanthropic network, the Council on Foundations is a nonprofit leadership association of grantmaking foundations and corporations. The Council on Foundations has been a regular partner in producing webinars and sharing content.
We partner with Candid (formerly Foundation Center) on the annual Measuring the State of Disaster Philanthropy, the most comprehensive collection and analysis of disaster-focused charitable giving. The goal of our partnership with InterAction is to facilitate a mutual assistance network between the private philanthropic community and the international NGO (INGO) community before, during and after disasters. CDP and InterAction work together to connect donors to information about NGOs which are supporting disaster mitigation, relief and long-term recovery. Find out more about the partnership.
Our partnership with National VOAD is designed to coordinate nonprofit partnerships with private philanthropy. National VOAD shares the work of its 109 members with CDP, which in turn shares the information with its community of donors. Find out more about the partnership.
As the largest and most diverse network in American philanthropy, United Philanthropy Forum holds a unique position in the social sector to help increase philanthropy’s impact in communities across the country. The Forum connects 86 regional and national philanthropy-serving organizations (PSOs), representing more than 7,000 funders, with great reach, lived experience and relationships to make philanthropy better. The primary goal of the partnership is to ensure the philanthropic community has access to the most current resources, information, and thinking to be the most impactful in its disaster-related actions and investments.
